take it the real reason for the album delay is finding a studio with wide enough doors to allow Ed to get his arms and shoulders through to lay down those god (self) inspired bass riffs.

just got home after 15 hours out of the house - 10 hours travelling - to witness just 36 mins of Ahymsa and 41 mins of Crowning Glory - yeah and some other bands which were entertaining mainly reasonably good but were not the reason I made the effort - CG were very good - but the main attraction for me was my very 1st glimpse of the makers of one of my fave albums of all time and did they impress - HELL YES THEY DID - Alex is superb, Ed is nearly as good as he thinks he is (unbalanced grass lost out there) Graham is an enthralling singer/ showman /frontman /guitarist who cant help but give a performance even if the turnout is disappointing and then there is Kali

And...unlike some of the bands ive seen *cough*HIM*cough* they rock...

what can I add to a posting of 16 months ago !!  except to say I loved her before I met her and nothing has changed - heres hoping for success to come your way, it will be well deserved.

 

That was YOU?! Do you know how long I've been trying to find out who posted that?! A mate txted me that link after she was googling people's names for a laugh (don't ask) and found mine - ah, its nice when information finally comes to you (after 16 bloody months!)

See now this is better, less Ed-praise, more me-praise I shall end up complimenting my arms in public if I'm not careful (now who does that remind me of...). Seriously though, don't encourage the bassist, he's like a stray cat, if you make a fuss of him once he'll just keep coming back. Then he'll get into your house and piss on your carpet. This cat/Ed analogy has gone too far.

So basically attics, thank you so much for making the trek to see Ahymsa and Crowning Glory - but where did you go afterwards, we couldn't find you! I think we're up north in Oct/Nov so perhaps see you again but closer to home this time! Thanks for the photos also, there's some really good ones in there and some hilarious hair-related pics too

And on that note I should probably get back to work, these files won't disorganise themselves...

you misread Gemma - I also found the posting thru google and have no idea who amadiere is - so you have more admirers   - google was also where I found ref to unbalanced grass - look forward to seeing you all again and of course to hearing the new album

 

as for the hair that is something impossible to keep out of the pics - tho its nice to see there is a smiling face under there somewhere -  as for the close up of Ed wasnt sure whether images of the divine being were allowed here or not but aslong as the cultists dont get hold of it we should be ok

Ed the uni confusion was my daughter was at same uni as you but the veterinary side of it so your paths didnt cross.

And yeah, you did say that it was one of my uni aquaintances. Its on the last forum. You even had a go at me for my memory loss on the subject.

But anyway, the question remains, WHO IS ATTICS??? Have we ever met?

Post on this thread with any suggestions, no matter how wild and insane, we must find out who this Attics is. I could ask but that would be too easy, it may be a trap. Better to throw wild accusations around and persecute everyone who is different to us... hang on... sorry, Im quoting Bush.
