What a great idea - An Ahymsa forum - wonder why its not been tried before?
Sorry ! couldnt resist, hope everything is well in Ahymsaland and news of the new album will of course be forthcoming....wont it.....I said wont it !!!!
Good to hear from you again attics, its been too long! Hopefully this forum will be with us for a bit longer (though I wouldn't want to jinx it by saying that - oops), it has been getting a little annoying to keep setting them up only to have them disappear...
The album is fully finished as far as the recordings are concerned, we're just waiting for the artwork to be finalised (our poor artist is up to her eyeballs in uni deadlines - btw happy 21st Billie! Great party - so we've gotta leave her alone for a bit so her head doesn't explode). As soon as its all pressed and printed we'll let you know.
Ahymsaland is fine thanks! Recent gigs have included Downstairs @ The Garage, which was fuckin awesome, and obviously we've been having fun recording the album and writing new material - unfortunately you'll only be able to hear the newest stuff at gigs, so if you happen to be in London when we're next playing then it'd be cool to see you there! How's Darlington, btw?
Hows Darlo? If you had ever ventured this far Norf you wouldnt need to ask - Birthplace of the railways and the burial site for everything else ! Nuclear testing has been ongoing here for years but as yet no-one has noticed any difference. harsh possibly but lived here too long - the beaches of southern california are calling me or was it Enfield. looking forward to album as 2006 already been better then expected - Chili peps best since blood sugar new ben harper is good and pearl jam amaze me with best since vitalogy - all just a taster of course for your classic
Hope all is well with you all, it's been a fair while since I've seen you, I'm looking forward to trying to catch you live at some point and I'm itching to hear your new stuff, Tom tells me it's muchos impressive. I take it you are all at download this weekend? If so, have fun and enjoy LORDI!
LOL Download was amaaaaaaaaaazing but we couldn't even get in to see Lordi, the tent was packed out! Still, I got to see Clutch, and Tool, and Metallica, and Axl.....
attics I'm sure I've asked this before but I can't remember - how close are Darlington and Sheffield? (All will become clear in a bit...!)
working shifts makes it difficult - but thats just excuses - you're right got to make an effort - yeah goin to see chilis - ticket was fathers day present so she ensured a lift there and back, cunning plan, will watch out for alldayer plans and finally see Firegarden and Ahymsa at the same time - can you get Pearl Jam to support cos wanna see them as well !!!!!
RHCP were excellent musically and as a fitness show outstanding!! Had to be one of sheffields hottest days so how Flea can leap around with a bass geetar is beyond me - never mind play it so well.
yeah and like everyone has PJs old address girl - try to keep up to date.
