Ok, ok, lemme just put all this into perspective/context/whatever.

Ed, get a grip.

Tom, we are NOT Axl Rose (no, not even Graham).

Attics - there have been delays between the artwork being finished and the sodding album being pressed and printed. It is getting sorted and we are finally looking at a timeframe of weeks rather than months (or years). In the meantime, I can only apologise. I am just as frustrated as everyone else with the length of time this album is taking to appear!

Don't worry, guys, it'll all be over by Christmas...

Hang in there (god knows, I am - by my own hair, from the lighting rig...)

Soon!! Oh please God soon. I cant hold on any longer, Im dangling off the cliff of sanity, clinging to a Synaesthesia shaped branch, legs flailing above the ocean of limbo, crying "Will someone please get a fucking move on!" at the top of my lungs! Throw me a rope, or a UPS truck or something.

I'LL throw you a fuckin UPS truck, at your effin panicky HEAD!! Grrr!!

Ahem. 500 copies of "Synaesthesia", the long-awaited (so we hear) new album by stoner-hippie-rockers Ahymsa, are being delivered to Ahymsa Towers, Somewhere In North London, NEXT WEEK!!!!!

As soon as they turn up, you'll hear about it. You'll probably hear me screaming, in fact.

It's so CLOSE!!!

You're telling me. I have to read books I cant get out of the library because the LEA havent paid my fees for the last year which means Im constantly in the Library when I shouldnt be, studying for a course that demands I give up every moment of my spare time, every waking hour, every bead of sweat and every K of energy I have left for this last chance to graduate because i cant come back next year if I fail because I need a job to earn money to pay for the band and general living... WHILE... trying to rearrange the university's lectures and seminars (which pisses off the lecturers and my team in a way not seen since the apple was plucked from Gods tree) so that I can play gigs up north with the band and then hopefully catch the last train back so I can return to the grind in the morning and try not to fail for lack of attendence despite my warnings, forebodings, problems, patience, restraints, agonised wailing at the hands of said "Messed up head". I feel like im living in a calendar, if you can imagine that, and all the dates are full and double booked with a little note saying "If you miss this appointment you will fail and that will be the story of you".

So, does anyone have any advice? Any constructive advice?... No? How about cyanide? Anyone have any of that floating around?

No, they most certainly do not. I for example have spent the past year typing my little fingers off, and although I did a lot of that at uni (contrary to popular belief / wistful thinking, essays do not write themselves) I never expected to be doing just this for a living.

Small interjection here - I DO NOT THROW FUCKING TANTRUMS!!!!!

Aaaanyway...

I don't know how much of this you've been doing already, Ed, but all I can say is keep badgering the LEA, they're (by and large) bureaucratic anally retentive morons who need to be reminded how to scratch their arse. As for your uni, sometimes they'll do a loan for students in financial crisis, to be paid back when situations such as this are resolved. Maybe you could call them on that, it might be an option that's "slipped their minds". Or maybe they don't do it, but it's gotta be worth a try. And hang on a sec but its only two gigs up north, they're a month apart, everyone else has to take time off work too, and if we don't leave London sometimes then attics will give up on us completely and become a Keane fan  Incidentally, if anyone does see any cyanide floating around, don't touch it, it's poisonous. I think we should probably set up a separate "Advise Ed" thread before he takes over the whole forum! Back inna bit...

Its cool, it seems to be sorting itself out at the moment, after a lot of threatening to go to the Citizens advice bureau, they are fucking terrified of the CAB. Because they are teh ones that KNOW what to do and do it. They will come down on the council like a hellstorm! Wicked.

The money as i said is being paid, and ive sorted out my seminar time and its going to be cutting it sooooo close. I will probably arrive at Ahymsa Towers at about 3 or just before. Its gonna be tight.

Still.. what you gonna do. Besides, find the cyanide floating around. That bit dangerous aint it, floating poison. Might bang your head.
